I am completing an Interdisciplinary degree in Conservation Biology/Zoology and Anthropology with plans to pursue a Masters in Environmental/Ecological Anthropology. I am a P/T student and I work F/T as the secretary for the Department of Wood Science in the Faculty of Forestry. As well, I am a mother to a 15-year-old daughter and a slightly neurotic 2-year-old yellow lab. I also volunteer a few hours per week at the Cowan Vertebrate Museum on campus. My interests include environmental policy, ecosystem conservation, traditional ecological knowledge and conservation of threatened/endangered species resulting from negative human impacts.
