Pacific Spirit Park
From NarratingLandscapes
Pacific Spirit Regional Park was established in 1975. Previous to that, it was a part of the University Endowment Lands of the University of British Columbia.
The entire park is on the traditional land of the Musqueam First Nation. Musqueam Creek, Vancouver's last wild salmon-bearing stream, flows from the apex of the Burrard Peninsula, Camosun Bog, south through Pacific Spirit Park's forest, and then through Musqueam Park and into the Fraser River estuary.
Pacific Spirit Regional Park features many trails through the second growth coastal rain forest, Camosun Bog, which is undergoing restoration work, and Wreck Beach.
